Today was all about ‘new life’.
First of all, Miss Gowing came to visit us and she introduced us to her new baby Luca. Everyone got to see him up close and Zach sang him a lullaby and read to him. Baby Luca was very good the whole time and we think he really enjoyed his trip to Lisnadill.
In the afternoon we were very excited to release our butterflies. They had arrived one month ago as very tiny caterpillars and we watched them grow then form a chrysalis and finally transform into beautiful butterflies. Some people were able to hold them and we all watched them fly off one by one into the sky.
