We had a great day learning all about Shrove Tuesday and why we actually have pancakes on this special day. We did some maths through measuring ingredients for the recipe and we collected data to find out the most popular topping. Choosing our toppings was the best part! Later on we read a recipe for pancakes and answered some questions about the text then we used our dictionaries to look up the meaning of some topic words.
